Human and Civil Rights for Marginalized Communities – IVLP

Visitors from The Philippines, Rwanda, Israel and the UK came to Kalamazoo in July for an IVLP program focused on fostering human rights. In meetings with Men of Purpose, the YWCA, and Read and Write Kalamazoo (RAWK) visitors explored creative approaches to celebrate diversity, promote inclusive public attitudes, address sensitive issues by working across institutional lines, and expand collaborative networks. A big thank you to Open Roads for allowing our guests to volunteer with them at an event hosted by El Concilio. Use the link below to see the Flickr album!
