Nine leaders from Gabon visited Kalamazoo for an IVLP project on the theme of Empowering Local Journalists for Impactful Reporting and met with Loy Norrix High School journalism teacher Tisha Pankop and the student journalists at Knight Life, NowKalamazoo, WMUK, Southwest Michigan’s Second Wave Media / On the Ground Battle Creek, and Public Media Network.
